Ambassador Ashe Lauds Polish President’s Condemnation of Anti-Semitism

U.S. Ambassador to Poland Victor Ashe lauded Polish President Lech Kaczynski’s condemnation of a recent anti-Semitic tract by Polish member of the European Parliament Maciej Giertych. “I laud President Kaczynski for condemning this unacceptable demonstration of anti-Semitism,” noted Ambassador Ashe. The U.S. Government is committed to monitoring and combating anti-Semitism throughout the world as an important human rights and religious freedom issue.
