Ambassador Ashe Hosts Reception to Honor Fulbright Scholars (more photos)

U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Victor Ashe, hosted a luncheon at his residence on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 for Polish and American Fulbright Scholars. Guests included Polish Fulbright Scholars who participated the program during the 2008/2009 academic year and American Fulbright Scholars who recently arrived in Poland and will begin their academic year in the next two weeks. During his welcome speech, Ambassador Ashe reminded that the Fulbright Program celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and continues to grow in importance and fosters important academic exchange between the United States and Poland. In his remarks, Ambassador Ashe encouraged the new American Fulbright Scholars to travel across Poland and immerse themselves in all aspects of life in their host country.
