Ambassador Feinstein with Roman Rewald, Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland
U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Lee Feinstein, made his first appearance as Honorary Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce at the Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw on December 2, 2009. The Ambassador spoke to the group about Polish-U.S. Relations, focusing on bilateral trade and investment. He stressed his personal commitment, as well as his mandate from President Barack Obama and Secretary Clinton, to broaden and deepen the United States’ relationship with Poland. He noted that the existing strong cooperation between the United States and Poland could be enhanced by deepening ties in areas such as energy security and alternative energy. The Ambassador also emphasized his support for innovation and U.S. investors in Poland. A brief question and answer period with AmCham members followed the Ambassador’s remarks.
