Ambassador Lee Feinstein began his trip to Kraków with a visit to the Wawel Hill.  During the visit, he laid a wreath at the tomb of Tadeusz Kościuszko and learned about the history of the Polish rulers entombed in the cathedral.  He also saw the Castle's famous Renaissance Courtyard.  He continued his visit with meetings at the Consulate and with local government, business, educational and cultural leaders.  On December 15, the Ambassador paid a visit to Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz and the Rector of the Jagiellonian University Professor Karol Musiał.  Consul General Allen Greenberg hosted a reception at his residence in the Ambassador's honor.
