“American Inspirations” Essay Contest

posterThe Alumni Association in Poland, which brings together former U.S. exchange visitors, launched a nation-wide “American Inspirations” essay contest.  Anyone 18 or older, who has been to the United States at least once, is invited to participate.  Share your experiences from the visit to the United States and how it influenced your life.  Your opinions on the cultural aspects, social and community issues are most welcome. The deadline for submitting the essays (max. 11,000 characters!) is December 31, 2009. Send your story to: konkurs@alumni-usa.pl

The results will be announced by March 31, 2010 during a gala reception in Warsaw, where the finalists will receive their awards. Please click here for more details and contest rules in Polish.
