On September 23, 2009, Commercial Counselor Jim Wilson represented the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw at the Grand Opening Ceremony of the Procter & Gamble Skin Care Plant in Aleksandrów Łódzki. Ms. Elzbieta Radziszewska, Secretary of State in the Prime Minister Chancellery and Peter Williams, P&G Vice President for Production and Distribution in Central and East Europe, Far East and Africa and Ms. Katarzyna Wojciechowska, Director of the new plant, officially opened the new factory. This new plant will be the biggest P&G skin care plant in Europe, and is the company’s third investment in Poland. Currently, total P&G investment in Poland reaches $500 million with over 3,200 employees.
