Inspired by the World Trade Center tragedy, Polish composer Piotr Moss, who celebrates 40 years of his artistic work this year, wrote the cycle "Loneliness" to the poems of E.E. Cummings and dedicated them to the memory of the victims. The cycle was written especially for the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic Orchestra, and composed in their original language. Soloists will be accompanied by a great symphony orchestra with a very extensive percussion. In addition to traditional instruments such as the xylophone, snare drum or a plate, the composer incorporated non-traditional ones such as car horns or... the referee's whistle.
