Ambassador Richard Morningstar, Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy, was in Warsaw November 12-14 to discuss further cooperation between Poland and the United States on energy and energy security. Meetings with government and private sector officials covered European energy diversification and market liberalization, market transparency, and engagement of upstream producers including partners in the Caspian Basin. Ambassador Morningstar also discussed possibilities for expanding cooperation on Poland's energy security priorities.
