Ambassador Ashe hosted 26 students and five faculty from the University of Tennessee Knoxville’s Executive MBA Program at a reception at his residence on September 8.  The group arrived in Warsaw on September 6 to begin the first part of a two-part international residence period.  The program is designed to provide in-depth international management education with a strong focus on leadership skills, strategic thinking and a global perspective. Please click here to see a photo gallery from the event.

The Warsaw portion of the program began with briefings by Linda Caruso of the U.S. Embassy’s Commercial Service and Dorota Dabrowski of the American Chamber of Commerce.  Students obtain first-hand insight into the local business environment through site visits with several area companies including Crowley Data, Mercedes Benz Automotive Parts Distribution Center, Proctor & Gamble, Deloitte, and Caterpillar Financial Services.   On September 11, the group will depart Warsaw for a brief stay in Vienna and then on to Budapest, Hungary for the second and final portion of their international residency.
