Ambassador Ashe Welcomes American Artist Mary Kelly to Poland

On March 19, Ambassador Ashe met American Artist Mary Kelly who is visiting Warsaw for the installation and opening of a retrospective of her work.  "Mary Kelly -- Selected Works, 1985-2007" will open at the Center for Contemporary Art (CCA) at the Ujazdowski Castle on March 28 and will be exhibited until June 8.  In conjunction with the exhibit opening, the Center will hold an international conference on Mary Kelly's work on March 29.  The exhibit and conference, sponsored by the Trust for Mutual Understanding, Alumni Office, U.S. Embassy, the Ministry of Culture and other local institutions, will provide Polish audiences the opportunity to see the work of and to hear from one of the world's most significant feminist artists.
