U.S. Ambassador to Poland Victor Ashe paid a visit to Antoni Pełkowski, Mayor of Wasilkόw, on June 2, as part of his continued Poland-wide outreach.  Later that morning, he visited with Stanisław Małachwiej, Mayor of Sokόłka, with Tadeusz Ciszkowski, Mayor of Dabrowa Białostocka, and with Jerzy Omielan, Mayor of Suchowola.  In the afternoon, Ambassador Ashe attended the opening of the Young Learners Resource Center at the Municipal Center of Methodology Counselling in Białystok.  He later met with Maciej Żywno, the new Governor of Podlaskie, with Tadeusz Truskolaski, Mayor of Białystok, and with Jarosław Dworzański, Marszałek of Białystok.
