Ambassador Visits Zachodniopomorskie

U.S. Ambassador to Poland Victor Ashe visited the Zachodniopomorskie region on Monday, April 7 as part of his continued Embassy outreach to small communities throughout Poland.  He first stopped in Nowogard to meet with Mayor Kazimierz Ziemba, followed by a call upon Zbigniew Ptak, Mayor of Drawsko Pomorskie.  The day remained busy, with a visit to Złocieniec and a meetihg with Mayor Waldemar Włodarczyk, followed by a visit with Zbigniew Raczewski, Deputy Mayor of Białogard.  The Ambassador finished the day with a call upon Jerzy Hardie-Douglas, Mayor of Szczecinek.

On Tuesday, April 8 Ambassador Ashe continued his outreach tour of Zachodniopomorskie with a call on Zenon Grzegorek, Mayor of Nakło nad Notecią.  He then went to Bydgoszcz to meet with Rafał Bruski, Voivode of Kujawsko-Pomorskie, and on to Toruń to meet with Piotr Całbecki, Marszałek of Kujawsko-Pomorskie.  In the afternoon the Ambassador completed the trip in Ciechocinek where he met with Mayor with Leszek Dzierżewicz.
