Ambasssador Discusses Protection of Software Industry's Intellectual Property Rights

On June 4, Ambassador Ashe met with Robert W. Holleyman, II, president and chief executive officer of the Business Software Alliance (BSA).  Mr. Holleyman was accompanied by Michael D. Engelhardt, Senior Director for Public Policy at Adobe Systems Incorporated, and other officials from BSA.  They discussed with the Ambassador levels of software piracy in Poland, the U.S. government's annual "Special 301" report on protection of intellectual property rights, and the overall business climate in Poland.
