Armored Vehicles on Loan from United States Delivered to Polish Forces in Afghanistan
Armored 17-ton Cougar and Buffalo MRAPs (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicles for Polish patrols and convoys in Afghanistan have been delivered by the U.S. military. When the plan was first made public, Prime Minister Donald Tusk commented on September 20, “this move is very pleasing for us.”
