Defense Acquisition Course in Warsaw

Participants in the Life Cycle Cost Management at the Military University of Technology

A team of instructors from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) taught a course on Life Cycle Cost Management at the Military University of Technology (WAT) on 4-8 February 2008. This was a continuation of long-term cooperation between NPS and WAT under the auspices of the U.S. Embassy’s Office of Defense Cooperation aimed at training Poland’s defense acquisition professionals. Numerous joint educational events have taken place since 2003 in Poland, the U.S., and other countries where WAT faculty members taught along with NPS professors. Another course, on Multinational Logistics, is being planned at WAT for April 2008 and will involve U.S., Polish, and German instructors.
