Defense Logistics Course in Warsaw

Defense logistics course participants

A team combining instructors from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School (NPS), the Polish Military University of Technology (WAT), the German Army University in Munich, and the NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency taught a Defense Logistics course at WAT on April 7 to 11.  This course was the latest development in long-term cooperation between NPS and WAT under the auspices of the U.S. Embassy’s Office of Defense Cooperation aimed at training Poland’s defense acquisition professionals.  Numerous other joint educational events have taken place since 2003 in Poland, in the United States, and in other countries where WAT faculty members have taught along with NPS professors.  Future plans include expanding the scope of cooperation to involve Poland’s National Defense Academy in team teaching and other projects.
