Special Recognition for Drug Enforcement Cooperation

logoCharles Tomaszewski, who served as the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Country Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw until the end of 2008, was honored with a bronze medal for his contributions to the Polish Police. The award ceremony took place on December 29 at the Polish Police Headquarters (KGP) in Warsaw with Police Sub Inspector Rafal Lysakowski, director of KGP's International Cooperation Office, among the attendees. Police Chief Commander, General Andrzej Matejuk, thanked Charles Tomaszewski for his excellent work and his involvement in the development of the Polish-American cooperation in drug enforcement. He also expressed hope the successful cooperation would continue.
