U.S. Air Force Captain Gives GPS Brief in Gdynia

On March 11, 2008 U.S. Air Force Captain Douglas Aguilar presented “GPS: Past, Present and Future” to Polish Naval Academy students and faculty/staff members in Gdynia.  The university Department of Navigation and Hydrography organized the two day event.  The second day of the event included a table top discussion regarding GPS and naval navigation with Superintendent Rear Admiral Czesław Dyrcz and his staff.  Captain Aguilar is posted to the U.S. Embassy Office of Defense Cooperation under the Engineer and Scientists Exchange Program and working at the Polish Academy of Sciences’ Space Research Center.  For more information on the Polish Naval Academy visit their website at: http://www.amw.gdynia.pl
