U.S. Department of Commerce Features Poland as “Market of the Month”

The Commerce Department website notes that “The United States and Poland enjoy a particularly close relationship which has fostered strategic and commercial cooperation. With close to 39 million people and a dynamic market economy, Poland offers substantial opportunities for U.S. business. Poland’s 2008 gross domestic product (GDP) is estimated at $420 billion. With multiple major cities, Poland is the largest market in Central and Eastern Europe.” The report cites Polish economic growth, its central location, and stable economy as good reasons for U.S. businesses to invest in and trade with Poland.
