Representatives from U.S. Air Force Europe’s 603rd Air Control Squadron out of Aviano Air Base, Italy visited the 31st Ośrodka Dowodzenia i Naprowadzania in Krzesiny and presented familiarization briefings to Polish military air traffic controllers.  The briefings focused on aspects of controlling military and civilian aircraft.  This important familiarization event was made possible by U.S. European Command’s Directorate of Logistics and Security Assistance and paid for under the U.S.-Poland Military-to-Military Program.  Events such as this one strengthen long-standing, Polish-American military cooperation while enhancing mutual interoperability and operational capabilities.  Major James Fisher and Mr. Jerry Brozyna of the U.S. Embassy’s Office of Defense Cooperation played a key role in organizing this event, as well as many similar events that have ensured the success of the $3.8 billion F-16 program.
