USAF Academy Cadets in Poland

Seven United States Air Force Academy cadets and their two advisors are in Poland from 2 to 7 June 2008 on a cultural immersion visit.  The cadets recently completed their second or third years of study at the Academy.  During their time in Poland, the group is visiting cultural sites in Warsaw and Kraków.  According to Maj Chad Austin, one of the cadets' advisors, the focus of the visit is “to meet the Polish people and gain a better understanding of the country's rich history and a glimpse into its future.”  Upon departing, the group will continue on to Russia where they will visit St. Petersburg and Moscow.
