The Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) at the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw hosted three training experts and one staff officer from the Air Force Office of International Affairs on Tuesday, February 3, to discuss continued U.S. support for the Polish F-16 training program.  The meetings with the Polish Air Force helped officers from the United States better understand Polish long- and short-term training objectives.  “Poland is a strong ally and we are doing the best we can to support their F-16 training program,” said Lt Col Love from the U.S. Air Force Education and Training Command.  In addition to Lt Col Love, Lt Col Rebmann, an F-16 pilot from the Arizona Air National Guard, Ms. Kowalczyk from Air Force Security Assistance Training and Lt Col Schatz from the Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs, came to Warsaw for the meeting.  The team, accompanied by Lt Col Wallace from the ODC, went to the Łask Air Base on Wednesday to see the F-16 infrastructure and meet with F-16 pilots.  “It was important for these training experts to have a clear picture of Polish operations, so we can provide effective support,” commented Wallace.  The team returned to the United States on Thursday, February 5.
