On January29-30, Major General Steven J. Hashem, the Director of the Center for Knowledge & Futures at the United States Special Operations Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida visited Polish Special Operations Command Headquarters in Krakow and the Polish 1st Special Forces Regiment in Lublinec.  The intent of MG Hashem’s visit was to familiarize himself with the development of the Polish Special Operations Command and the progress of the strategic partnership with United States Special Operations Command.  Throughout his visit MG Hashem was escorted by Colonel Bogdan Gieniewski, the US SOCOM liaison officer to the Polish Special Operations Command.
