Members of the U.S. Embassy’s Office of Defense Cooperation traveled to Bydgoszcz on January 23, 2009 to meet with representatives of the Ministry of Defense’s Support Inspectorate and Foreign Military Sales office.  During the highly successful conference, Col Tim Burke, Lt Col Scott Wallace, and Ms. Małgorzata Fedor of the U.S. Office of Defense Cooperation in Warsaw reviewed the U.S. Foreign Military Sales program, discussed the current state of equipment purchased by Poland through the FMS program, and engaged in the discussion on possible methods to move forward.  Support Inspectorate will soon be tasked to develop all the necessary means to support equipment after the acquisition process is completed.
