On April 17, U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Victor Ashe, and Mrs. Ashe, hosted a reception for all Polish alumni of U.S. government exchange programs and launched the new Alumni Association. Ambassador Ashe welcomed over 300 guests to his Residence who arrived from different regions of Poland and represented many different professional fields.  The Ambassador invited the alumni to join the new association which he noted “seeks to continue your exchange experience and help you to develop personally and professionally.” At the invitation of Ambassador Ashe, the newly elected President of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association, Dr. Jacek Nieckula, spoke briefly about the goals of the association and invited everyone to join.  After the reception, over 100 guests attended a special concert of Chopin music by American pianist John Robillette at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
