Ambassador Ashe and Dr. Marek Pienkowski

U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Victor Ashe, met with Dr. Marek Pienkowski on April 5.  Dr. Pienkowski was the inspiration of the sister city relationship between the city of Chełm in Poland and Knoxville, Tennessee.  Dr. Pienkowski frequently visits Poland to facilitate cultural, business and governmental exchanges between these sister cities.  Ambassador Ashe is the former Mayor of Knoxville.
