Ambassador Travels to Wroclaw and Poznan Area

U.S. Ambassador to Poland Victor Ashe visited Wroclaw, Poznan and five nearby towns on October 15-17.    "These travels are part of my commitment to serve as U.S. Ambassador to all of Poland, not just Warsaw,” he said.    On Monday the 15th in Wroclaw, he attended the official opening of the U.S.-Europe Airport Conference,  before paying a visit to the Wabco Vehicle Control Systems Factory, where he met Piotr Trzcinski, General Director. In the afternoon, Ambassador Ashe met with Rafal Dutkiewicz, Mayor of Wroclaw. Later the same day, he traveled to Rawicz to meet with Mayor Tadeusz Pawlowski, and then to Krotoszyn for a meeting with Mayor Julian Joks. On the 16th, Ambassador Ashe met with Mayor of Miedzyrzecz, Tadeusz Dubicki and with Mayor of Swiebodzin, Dariusz Bekisz. He concluded this segment of his travels around Poland with a visit to Poznan before flying back to Warsaw.
