Ambassador Victor Ashe Greets Guests at July 4 Showing of Milton Friedman Film

The ITI Group’s Onet.pl and the Adam Smith Center of Warsaw arranged for the showing of the Milton Friedman documentary The Power of Choice, which was followed by a debate on the principles of laissez-faire economics that the Nobel laureate espoused during his lifetime.  The Ambassador thanked the organizers for honoring the 231st celebration of America’s Independence Day with the event and commented on Friedman’s influence on U.S. economic and political thought over the past few decades.  Friedman passed away in November 2006.
