Each summer thousands of Polish university students join others from countries around the world in the U.S. Summer Work and Travel Program, a cultural exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.  The program allows foreign university students to spend their summer break working and traveling in the United States.  “I encourage Polish students to take advantage of this great opportunity to explore the United States, get to know its culture and people, improve English language skills, earn money, develop a network of international contacts and gain marketable job skills,”  notes U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Victor Ashe.  (VIDEO) (BROCHURE)

The requirements for participation in the Summer Work and Travel Program are:

2. The applicant must possess sufficient proficiency in English to participate in their program;

3. The program can only take place during the applicant's summer break from studies;

4. The applicant must be currently enrolled at the time of application for the program.
