U.S. Embassy Supports Warsaw Artistic Photography Festival

U.S. Embassy Warsaw will support the 3rd Warsaw Artistic Photography Festival set to begin on March 22 under the Honorary Patronage of U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Victor Ashe, announced Cultural Attaché Jim Wolfe. The two-month-long event will take place in the most prestigious galleries in Warsaw and will feature a strong American component. Works of American students of photography will take part in a nation-wide competition and two distinguished American guests will speak about American photography at the Academy of Fine Arts.
Sandra Phillips, Curator of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, will offer a lecture on March 23 at 17:00 and Fred Ritchin, Associate Chair of the Department of Photography & Imaging at New York University, will speak on April 21 at 11:00 at the Academy of Fine Arts.
