Ambassador Feinstein hosted a group of American students from Loyola University’s Rome Center of Liberal Arts and law students from Nicholas Copernicus University (NCU) in Torun at a Meet America program at the Embassy on October 12. The Ambassador spoke to the group about current issues in U.S. foreign policy, Polish-American relations, and his mission as the U.S. Ambassador to Poland. The Ambassador also spoke with the group, who had just participated in a symposium on human rights at NCU, about the principle of “The Responsibility to Protect,” and engaged in a question and answer session with the students.
Embassy Warsaw’s Political-Military Officer Duncan Walker and Press Attaché Jeanne Briganti also talked with the group about their respective posting in the U.S. Foreign Service, and the paths that led them to careers in diplomatic service.
