Meet America Program
Meet America
Meet America
The U.S. Embassy in Warsaw invites your group to the Embassy to meet with U.S. Embassy Diplomats and listen to their presentations on various aspects of American culture, U.S. history, education, economics, U.S./Polish relations and U.S. foreign policy. In addition, the Meet America Program provides your group the opportunity to meet American officers face-to-face and learn about their impressions about living and working in Poland and their careers as diplomats.
At a Meet America Program event an audience of high school, university students or professional groups visits the Embassy to listen to three short presentations of American diplomats, often illustrated by multimedia presentations related to the topics, and is given a chance to ask questions and engage speakers in a discussion after each speech. Occasionally, the program also offers the group a unique opportunity to meet U.S. Ambassador to Poland who, should his daily schedule allow, appears at the Meet America Program to greet the audience, answer their questions on a given topic, and pose for a group photo.
Please let us know how we can best meet your expectations by answering the questions below:
• Can you suggest three topics of your interest for the presentations?
• How big will the audience group be? What age will the audience group be?
• What is the background information about the audience’s school?
• Do you expect a question period after the presentation?
