U.S. Senators Voice Support for the Missile Defense Agreement

 
Senator Jeff Sessions (R, Alabama) and Senator James Inhofe (R, Oklahoma) presented the case for funding Missile Defense and praised the agreements with Poland and the Czech Republic in remarks to their colleagues September 17.  Senators Sessions and Inhofe are senior members of the Senate Armed Services Committee. A bipartisan group of senators led by Senator Sessions had previously introduced a measure on September 15 calling for bipartisan support and funding for construction of the Missile Defense facilities called for in the agreements with Poland and the Czech Republic.
