U.S. and Polish Soldiers Participate in Peacekeeping Operation Exchange

Illinois Army National Guard during exercises

Sixteen members of the Illinois Army National Guard and approximately 300 Polish soldiers participated in a Peacekeeping Operation Exchange May 15-18.  The U.S. and Polish soldiers conducted “Lanes Training” in preparation for the next Polish rotation to Iraq.  To date, over 2,000 Polish soldiers and 200 Illinois National Guard soldiers have participated in similar exchanges.
