U.S. Biological Defense Experts Visit Poland

Dr. Evan Skowronski and Mr. Robert Gross of the U.S. Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center visited Poland October 16-18 to discuss cooperation on biological defense technologies with the Polish Military Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology. Their future plans include extension of an Information Exchange Agreement Annex and establishment of a new agreement that would cover joint research, development, testing and evaluation. They met with U.S. Ambassador to Poland Victor Ashe, U.S. Embassy personnel, and the Commander of the Epidemiological Response Center of the Polish Armed Forces.
