U.S. receives awards at International Defense Industry Exhibition

The U.S. Embassy's Office of Defense Cooperation received a special award at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, Poland during the week of September 2, for Organization of U.S. Lead Nation Participation and Promotion of the U.S.-Poland Partnership.
In addition, U.S. Army Program Executive Office Soldier won the Journalists Best Overall Display Award for its booth display promoting the “Soldier” (the focal point of the 4-day ground-forces-focused event). And Kallman Worldwide, the U.S. Pavillion organizer, won a prestigious award for designing, building and organizing the American Pavillion.
The Embassy's Colonel Stan Prusinski led the extremely successful U.S. Lead Nation effort in close coordination with U.S. industry and the U.S. Departments of Defense, Commerce, and State. Assistant Secretary Bolton led a distinguished U.S. Department of Defense team which included eight U.S. Army program executive offices which are leading U.S. army transformation. The Army offices shared and exchanged their knowledge with Polish and other countrys’ officers in a variety of seminars, meetings and other fora.
