Statement by President Bush on Shootings at Virginia Tech

U.S. President George W. Bush made a statement on the shootings April 16 at Virginia Tech.  “Our nation is shocked and saddened by the news of the shootings at Virginia Tech.  Our nation grieves with those who have lost loved ones.  We hold the victims in our hearts, we lift them up in our prayers, and we ask a loving God to comfort those who are suffering,” said President Bush.  For the President’s full statement, click here.
