4-H Poster Contest Winners Announced

In November 2009, the Office of Agricultural Affairs and the 4-H Foundation in Poland announced a poster contest, “Our future with 4-H.”  On January 29th, 2010, Agricultural Counselor Eric Wenberg selected winners from 70 posters sent by 39 clubs across Poland.  The posters were divided into 3 age categories: below 10 years old, 11-16 years old and above 16 years old. The winners are: “Polne kwiatki” club from Zembrów (Podlaskie voivodship), 4-H club from Secondary School in Fałków (Świętokrzyskie voivodship) and 4-H club from IT school in Busko-Zdrój (Świętokrzyskie voivodship). We would like to thank all the participants and leaders of 4-H clubs for their hard work and great ideas.  All the artwork will be on display for the National 4-H meetings in June.  In the United States and around the world, 4-H works to give children after school and weekend activities to enhance rural development and prepare children to be leaders in their communities for farms, business, academic, environmental and social improvements.
