Amabssador Ashe congratulates finalists of Aliante Competition

On May 22, 2006, U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Victor Ashe, congratulated the nine Polish winners of the Aliante Competition who will travel to Holland in June to participate in the international finals. Aliante 2006 is an annual internet-based competition held in English and designed to promote understanding of NATO’s history and mission and encourage young people to consider careers in international relations. During his speech, Ambassador Ashe said that the U.S. supports NATO and believes the alliance should be given the tools to secure and advance freedom. Besides congratulating the finalists, he also encouraged them to continue studying international relations.
