On January 16, 2006, Embassy Legal Attaché John Bienkowski and Assistant Legal Attaché Monika Wasiewicz provided a presentation to approximately fifty students at the Language Teacher’s College in Sandomierz. The topic of discussion was: The FBI – Facts vs. Fiction. The discussion revolved around what it takes to become an FBI agent. Can a person born in Poland become an FBI agent? (yes) What does the FBI investigate? What is the FBI doing in Poland? Do the media portray FBI agents accurately? After the presentation, four students and a teacher provided a guided tour of Sandomierz to Bienkowski and Wasiewicz.
