Ambassador Ashe Hosts World CIVITAS Participants

Ambassador Ashe greets Mexican CIVITAS participants

On May 26, Ambassador and Mrs. Ashe hosted a reception for over 250 guests in honor of the World Congress on Civic Education. They greeted participants from 63 nations and 21 U.S. states as well as representatives from Polish governmental and non-governmental organizations. The Ambassador gave a short speech welcoming the participants and Tomasz Merta, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, also addressed the group.
