Condolence Message from President Bush to President Kaczyński

Dear Mr. President:

On behalf of the American People, I extend my deepest condolences to you and the people of Poland on the tragedy in Katowice. Please know that Laura and I are praying for the families who lost their loved ones and for the injured.

As a visible symbol of America’s solidarity with Poland in your time of national mourning, the American flags in Warsaw and Kraków will be flown at half-staff for three days.
