Embassy Programs

Meet America, an integral part of the mission’s outreach programming targeting youth, allows Poland’s perspective future leaders to experience the Embassy setting and learn more about US policy and objectives in the region. The Ambassadors willingness to take time to meet with the students, coupled by the fact that the event is held in the embassy and includes officers from the State Department and other agencies, reinforces the message that the embassy is an open institution and that its employees are approachable.

One of the Mission’s most popular programs, the Meet America program gives Polish citizens from throughout the country the opportunity to visit the embassy, meet with embassy officials, and learn first-hand about US culture, society and values. Since its inception last year, over 1200 students, professors and academics have visited Embassy Warsaw.
