American Soprano to Perform in Warsaw, Bialystok, and Other Towns

, Artistic Director of the Poetica Musica  consortium of musicians, will pay a return visit to Poland in late October to conduct a series of master classes and perform in several cities and towns. Ms. Valkenburg’s first visit to Poland coincided with the 2003 American Days festival in Bialystok, where she appeared with Maria Garcia on piano and Barry Crawford on flute.
This year Ms. Valkenburg will be accompanied by American pianist Anne Taffel. In addition to events in Białystok, Kozłówka and Podkowa Leśna, they will play a special concert at the Paderewski Museum in Warsaw on October 24 and conduct master classes for music students of the Chopin Music School on Warsaw’s Bednarska Street.
