 Prof. Gail Levin
For the fall of 2007, Professor Levin held the Distinguished Fulbright-Dow Chair, Roosevelt Study Center, in Middelburg, The Netherlands. She is author of many books and essays, including a catalogue and a biography of Edward Hopper, which The Wall Street Journal named in 2007 as one of the five best artists' biographies ever.

Her most recent book is a biography of Judy Chicago, published in 2007. She is now writing a biography of Lee Krasner. Her many awards and fellowships include major grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and a recent award from the National Association of Women Artists.
