"Solidarity's Coming Victory..." Ambassador John Davis Returns to Warsaw

Ambassador John Davis, who served as U.S. Ambassador to Poland from 1983-1990, will return to Warsaw for a book presentation and seminar at Collegium Civitas on June 23. The book, “Solidarity’s Coming Victory: Correspondence between the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw and the Department of State, January-September 1989,” recently published in Polish, contains declassified cables documenting political events in Poland during this historic period.
