Jeffery Deaver speaks at an “America Presents” program at the U.S. Embassy

Jeffery Deaver, an American mystery writer, visited Poland November 16-18. He was hosted by Mrs. Joan Ashe at a lunch at the Ambassador’s residence on November 17 and participated in an “America Presents” program on November 16 at the U.S. Embassy where he spoke about his writing to a group of Polish and American readers and signed autographs. As part of his talk, the audience watched scenes from the Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie movie The Bone Collector, based on Deaver’s novel. Deaver also visited Krakow where he received a literary award at the Crime and Mystery Festival. He is the author of over twenty novels, including The Bone Collector, A Maiden’s Grave, Coffin Dancer and Cold Moon
