A delegation of 20 top Polish business leaders and high-level government officials visited Baghdad from January 23-25 to explore investment opportunities and make contacts. They met with Ambassador L. Paul Bremer, Chief Administrator of the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA), Admiral David Nash, Director of the Iraq Infrastructure Program Management Office, as well as a variety of Iraqi Ministry officials. The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it is extremely optimistic that the trip will serve as a foundation for Polish businesses to develop long-term business relationships in Iraq.
