International Education Week

15 November 2005

November 14th through 18th is International Education week (IEW). First begun in 2000, IEW has become a global event. During the week, students, educators, and community leaders and our U.S. Embassies participate in a wide range of activities to recognize and celebrate the benefits of internationalism in our classrooms and our educational systems.

In Warsaw the week will be highlighted by two symposiums at Warsaw University on November 18th. The first is titled “Polish-U.S. Academic Cooperation and Its Role in Science Development” and begins at 11:00 a.m. The second is titled “Study USA” and begins at 3:30 p.m.
