Public Affairs Office offers teachers of English in Poland various publications on methodology, American culture and American Studies both hardcopy and online. We strongly encourage subscribing to online versions of the methodology quarterly magazine "English Teaching Forum Online", which is for all teachers of English outside of the United States and State Department e-journal, which seeks to promote understanding of American history and culture through cross-disciplinary articles, informative essays, book reviews, and pedagogical articles, as well as many other useful links which you can find on your right.
The embassy encourages subscribing to electronic forum for all teachers of English who wish to share their expertise and knowledge on American aspects of culture, history and values with other teachers of English throughout Poland. We hope to see vivid discussion on various issues connected with your lessons and methodological problems as well as suggestions and problem solutions you encounter in your teaching endeavours.
We were the first US embassy that opened Young Learners Resource Center for teachers of English at elementary grades. We plan to open at least three more such centers in the nearest future. We are happy to hear about any ideas and success stories of your English Teaching projects.
